PIZZO CALABRO

A small town of medieval origin overlooking the sea, the castle of Pizzo where Joachim Murat was imprisoned, declared a national monument, the Church of “Piedigrotta”, the Church of St. George the Martyr, the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the famous Pizzo truffle ice cream.

TROPEA

Defined as the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is the most famous locality of the Coast of the Gods, Rotonda beach, Spiaggia ‘a Linguata, Grotta del Palombaro, Benedictine sanctuary of S. Maria dell’Isola, picturesque historical centre with belvedere on the beaches, homeland of the Red Onion.

The BV BORGO DEL PRINCIPE in Zambrone marina (VV) is about 9 km from the railway station F. S of Tropea and 19 km from the station F.. S. station of Vibo-Pizzo.

It is 60 km from Lamezia Terme airport, 36 km from the A3 SA-RC Pizzo junction and 700 m from the Tyrrhenian highway 522.

By car:

36 km from the A3 SA-RC Pizzo junction and 1 km from the state highway Tirrenica 18

SA-RC motorway, Pizzo exit in the direction of Tropea, state highway 522, crossroads at Marina di Zambrone.
